Dr. James Sutton is a board-certified neurologist with over 30 years of experience in clinical practice, research, and leadership. He has served as Principal Investigator on more than 100 clinical trials across phases I–IV, with a focus on neurodegenerative and movement disorders including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and Lewy body dementia. His expertise spans diagnostic evaluations, administration of a broad range of efficacy and safety scales, and oversight of clinical trial operations with a strong emphasis on data integrity and regulatory compliance. At CenExel iResearch in Savannah, Dr. Sutton will lead studies in neurology and CNS, while also supporting trials in psychiatry, pain, and metabolic indications as needed. Outside of work, Dr. Sutton enjoys playing jazz and classical piano, spending time with his two corgis, and exploring horticulture with his husband.
